2019 Triathlon Season Kicks Off at Robina

Our juniors and adults had a great start to the 2019 triathlon season with Round 1 of the Queensland Triathlon Series kicking off at Robina. All our athletes raced well, with our juniors making huge improvements across the board - Coach Jordan is very proud! Well done to adult squad member Emma who stayed cool, calm and collected to complete her first Sprint Distance race. It was great to see some squad members collecting podiums for their efforts - junior squad member Oscar and adult squad members Kitty and Liz all placing 2nd in their respective age groups. Thanks to parents and club members who cheered our athletes on, helped transport and set up the club tent, and took photos (Anthony!).

Round 2 is at Raby Bay, a favourite with club members, on Sunday 13 October. Look out for our new-look club trailer and we’ll be firing up the BBQ!
